ESTIMATING THE ROLE OF A COSTUME IN THE SYSTEM OF RECREATIONAL AND TOURIST ATTRACTIONS

The research aims to assess the role of the costume in the processes of recreational and tourist attractions and determine the most influential characteristics of it to attract attention and memorize visitors. The research contains a critical analysis of publications on selected topics, is based on a sociological survey, statistical processing of data. The graphical interpretation of the results of the survey was used, which allowed to assess the emotional impact of the costume on creating an atmosphere of recreational and tourist activities. The theoretical research revealed
the multidimensionality of perspective directions of using the costume to increase the attractiveness of recreational and tourist activities, namely: with the help of a costume it is possible to ensure
the mobile change of the artistic-figurative component of already existing recreational and tourist attractions and achieve their originality and novelty; the costume has the potential to use as a
tool for the formation of a positive image and simulation of the visual symbol of the territory with the interpersonal interaction of the rest with the staff of the host tourist organization or region; means of a costume possible creation of the necessary atmosphere of the event
and its emotional content. The leading role of the costume in providing positive emotional perception and formation of the atmosphere of a recreational and tourist event is confirmed by the results of a questionnaire survey (positive answers 91.1% of respondents). The key characteristics of the costume to attract attention to the opinion of the respondents is the originality, as well as unusual shape, refinement, brightness of colors, understandable conceptual decision, decorative. Attractive costume is the main complex indicator of the
properties of a suit, which includes a number of characteristics that provide a positive emotional (sensory) perception of the artistic image of a participant in a recreational and tourist event.
