OPEN ACCESS AND COPYRIGHT POLICY

The journal “Art and Design” adheres to the principles of Open Access and provides free and unrestricted access to all published materials.

Open access policy

All articles are published in open access immediately upon release of an issue and are available without restrictions for reading, downloading, and use. After publication, each article becomes an integral part of the open scholarly environment. Users may freely view, store, distribute, and copy materials without any technical or legal barriers.

License Terms of Use

Further use of published texts is governed by the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license. This license allows unlimited reproduction, adaptation, processing, and distribution of materials, including their commercial use. The only condition is to indicate the source, DOI of the original publication, indicate changes (if any), and clearly link to the license terms. The license also prevents the publisher or author from being interpreted as endorsing a particular reuse of the material.

Copyright

Intellectual property rights to the article remain with the authors. They may further use the materials in their own research, deposit them in repositories, or distribute them by any other means. The journal acquires only the right to publish and reproduce the article.

Full versions of all publications are available in the “Archive” section, fully in line with the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative regarding open access to scholarly information.

Submission of the manuscript means that the author:

  • confirms the originality of the material and the absence of any infringement of third-party rights;
  • grants the journal a non-exclusive right to publish, distribute, and archive the article;
  • agrees to its dissemination in open access.

The journal reserves the right to carry out editorial processing, indexing, and archiving of the materials.

Self-Archiving

Authors have the right to:

  • place the published version of the article in open repositories;
  • use the material for their own scientific and educational purposes;
  • distribute the article on personal or institutional resources.

All subsequent publications must include a reference to the original publication in the journal.

Archiving and accessibility

The journal ensures the long-term preservation of published materials.

Articles are stored on the official website of the journal and may also be deposited in electronic archives and repositories.
