Abstract

Purpose. To find out the retrospective of the formation of continuous education in the design and technologies of the textile industry and the perspective of the development of the career guidance design-technological component in the system of professional training of future specialists in the textile industry. The priority research method is the analysis of the process of formation of the content component of continuing education in textile design and technology, as well as the method of educational design, which is necessary and sufficient for the implementation of the content of continuing education in design and technology. Results are the clarification of the provisions of state and educational documents that ensured the preservation of the didactic principle of continuity in the formation and development of the content of continuous general secondary education in the design and technologies of the textile industry; highlighting educational design as an effective method of forming a creative personality capable of creative thinking, solving project tasks, self-realization in continuous education in textile design and technologies; in the vocational orientation of continuous general secondary education in textile design and technology. Scientific novelty. For the first time, continuous design-technological education as a scientific and educational-methodological problem was defined as the object of research; according to the second descriptor of the NRC, the essence of the concept of "design-technological education" is formulated as an integrated project-creative and practical activity, in which "cognitive skills include logical, intuitive and creative thinking, and practical skills - manual dexterity, application of practical methods (methods), materials, tools and instruments"; the necessity of differentiating industrial design into a simple functioning system of design-technological education based on the types of design and technologies of forming and duplicating products of the following main production industries of Ukraine: textile, construction, graphic, electronic products is substantiated. Practical value lies in the generalization of the experience of continuous primary, basic and specialized secondary education in textile design and technology; highlighting the design-technological component of continuous general secondary education as a vocational orientation in the system of professional training of future specialists in the textile industry; in the future, it is possible to expand the generalization of the experience of continuous primary, basic and specialized secondary education in design and technologies of other production branches of Ukraine.
