Purpose of the work is to substantiate the need for digitalisation of the educational process and present the experience of the authors in developing an interactive electronic textbook on the professional technical discipline Sewing Products Technology (Section 1. Technologies of experimental, preparatory and cutting production in the sewing industry). The study also provides the results of its experimental testing to assess the effectiveness of developing the professional competencies of future fashion industry specialists. The study employed principles of the systematic approach, theoretical methods (analysis and generalisation), and empirical methods, including observation, comparison, pedagogical experiments, surveys, testing, and questioning of students, faculty members, and specialists from the sewing industry. A modern electronic training manual for the specialised technical discipline has been developed. Its key features include accessibility, mobility, ease of material perception, multimedia integration (QR codes, video content), the capability for self-assessment of knowledge, and a strong practical focus due to the inclusion of technical documentation examples. The approbation conducted at KNUTD confirmed its effectiveness: students in the experimental groups who used the e-manual showed an increase in the share of excellent grades (from 36.1% to 52%) and a decrease in satisfactory grades. Surveys showed that 100% of respondents recognised the manual's usefulness. The developed training manual facilitates the improvement of educational quality, increases teaching productivity, and fosters the development of students' information culture and creative thinking. This is the first time an interactive electronic training manual of this level has been developed and experimentally tested for a narrow-specialised discipline for the training of specialists in the speciality G15 / 182 Technologies of Light Industry. A multifunctional educational resource with practical applications has been created: the manual is valuable not only for higher education students but also for engineering and technical staff, as well as practitioners in the fashion industry, thereby promoting the transfer of knowledge from "production to education."
