About the Journal
The journal “Fashion Industry” is a professional scientific publication whose history dates back to 1921, when it was founded under the title “Light Industry” and served as a leading information platform for the sector. The journal “Fashion Industry” is its legal successor and is committed to consistently preserving and developing its long-standing traditions. The journal has been published in Ukrainian since 1960.
Our mission is to revive, develop, and elevate the fashion industry to the global level. We strive to promote the advancement of the fashion industry, as well as to preserve and enhance domestic production in light industry and industrial engineering.
The scientific journal “Fashion Industry” is a periodical publication featuring scientific, research, and applied articles addressing the potential and development trends of the fashion industry market, light industry, and sector-specific engineering, as well as relevant promotional materials.
The journal “Fashion Industry” aims to:
- present the results of scientific, applied, and experimental research conducted by domestic and international scholars in the fields of light industry and industrial engineering;
- provide information on the current state and development conditions of the fashion industry and related sectors;
- publish articles reflecting the current state of scientific knowledge in the field;
- familiarize the scientific community with research outcomes in the fashion industry and engineering, highlighting key research areas;
- facilitate the academic validation of research conducted by higher education students, PhD candidates, and doctoral researchers.
