MODERN MODELS OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT: ESSENCE, TYPES, INNOVATIVE BUSINESS MODELS

The article examines modern models of business development management (business models), including innovative business models as key, on the example of successful innovative companies in the world. In particular, the essence and content characteristics of the definitions "business development management", "model", "business development management model" are determined. The key components of the business development management model (business models) have been studied. The fundamental difference between the business model and the strategy and business plan of the firm is emphasized. A generalized approach to the classification of business models is also proposed. The application of the business model canvas standard in domestic activities for domestic enterprises has been studied and substantiated. The essence of one of the most popular modern classifications of business development management models on a competitive basis is revealed, which includes such types of business models as "separation" of business models, "long tail" model, multilateral platforms, "free" model, open business model. These models of business development management are analyzed on the example of leading foreign and domestic companies. The expediency of application of innovative business models is substantiated, the basis of which is not so much the latest technologies as the entrepreneurial idea, which can provide better value for the end consumer with the same technologies. The key modern innovative business models under the current conditions of innovative economy are offered and described, which can be applied in economic activity of both foreign and domestic enterprises. These include business models such as the business model of certification (transition from products to services), dematerialized business model (transition to a circular economy), virtual business model (transition from digitalization to virtualization). It is emphasized that the management of business development requires the development and effective implementation of an effective model of such management, which will establish a mutually beneficial relationship between the three vertices of the "triangle": company – consumer – supplier, when all three parties are most satisfied in the long run.
