THE PLACE OF INTELLECTUAL POTENTIAL IN LABOR MARKET TRANSFORMATION UNDER THE CONDITIONS OF INDUSTRY 4.0

The presented paper considers the actual problem of determining the role and place of intellectual potential in the transformation of the labor market, which is taking place under the influence of Industry 4.0. The methodological apparatus of the research is formed by the methods of analysis and synthesis for identifying and characterizing the component processes of the intellectual potential impact on the labor market in the context of the economy digital transformation, the grouping method – for characterizing professions, demanded increasing and contrasting them with processions with decreasing demand, methods of induction and deduction for analysis of the main categories and factors of the Industry 4.0 influence on the outlined processes. The work defines the importance of digital technologies for the development of modern economic processes, characterizes the main groups of their tools, including intelligent production, modeling and simulation, digitalization and visualization of content and data. The task of Industry 4.0 is characterized. through the prism of its impact on labor productivity, employment processes and the development of intellectual potential. The directions of digital technologies influence from the position of freeing up the labor force and creating new jobs are determined. An assessment of the potential impact of Industry 4.0 was made. On employment parameters in high-tech and knowledge-intensive industries and low-tech sectors of the economy. A grouping and comparison of the professions list, the demand for which increases and decreases in the conditions of digitalization, was carried out. The important role of intellectual capital in the development of professions with growing demand has been determined. The fact of changing the structure of employment and the growing influence of intellectualization on the labor market has been established. Attention is focused on the fact that digital technologies change not only the nature of production tasks, but also the environment of their application. It was found that Industry 4.0 goes beyond production tasks and covers the spheres of everyday life, governance, health care and education. Accordingly, the growth of the fundamental importance of digital technologies for society is emphasized, as well as the need to transform higher education and non-formal education systems in order to ensure the development of intellectual potential and align its parameters with the requirements and demands of the labor market, which is developing in accordance with new conditions. It has been established that intellectual potential is both an objective condition for the formation of Industry 4.0 and an important factor in ensuring its success through its influence on employment and training processes.
