Abstract

The modern world is experiencing rapid changes that affect various aspects of life, including the higher education system. In the context of structural changes, higher education institutions require effective strategies to ensure motivation for social responsibility. This becomes particularly relevant as global challenges such as the environmental crisis, social inequality, and ethical issues demand active participation from universities in addressing these problems. The hypothesis of this research is that motivation for social responsibility of higher education institutions can be achieved through defined strategies and initiatives. If effective methods are employed, higher education institutions can successfully integrate social responsibility during structural changes. The objective of this article is to investigate the issue of ensuring motivation for social responsibility of higher education institutions during structural changes. It aims to identify strategies and initiatives that can be applied to stimulate higher education institutions to integrate social responsibility into their activities. This article utilizes methods of literature analysis and synthesis, analysis of experience, as well as systemic analysis. Scientific sources, research, and practices related to motivation for social responsibility in higher education during structural changes were analyzed. The research results demonstrate that ensuring motivation for social responsibility of higher education institutions during structural changes requires the implementation of a comprehensive set of strategies. This includes defining a mission and goals that consider social needs, fostering a culture of social responsibility, engaging stakeholders, and implementing ethical and sustainable practices. The application of these strategies will contribute to the development of higher education that is socially responsible and oriented towards achieving sustainable development. Based on the obtained results, it can be concluded that ensuring motivation for social responsibility of higher education institutions during structural changes is a necessary step towards the development of a sustainable and socially responsible education system. For further research, it is recommended to focus on studying the effectiveness of different strategies and initiatives, assessing the impact of motivation for social responsibility on the quality of education and community development, and developing practical recommendations for integrating social responsibility into higher education during structural changes.
