The essay looks at strategies for making a business more competitive in the face of globalization. Considering the unique characteristics of the contemporary market, special attention is given to the elements that have the biggest influence on enhancing the competitiveness of the business. Economic process development determinants are identified. The work that is being given aims to pinpoint the characteristics of the contemporary market and strategies for boosting an organization's competitiveness while functioning in these circumstances. The primary research methods involve the examination of studies and publications to identify the key elements in the evolution of economic processes, as well as the application of induction and deduction to examine the primary factors influencing the growth of competitiveness. The structure of the international and national markets has changed. The primary characteristic of the modern market is its participation in the globalization process. In the global economy, competitiveness means the ability to take the most advantageous position in the ever-changing marketing environment, which is constantly changing and shaped by factors outside the national economy. In the context of globalisation, the following factors are becoming increasingly important for competitiveness: labour resources that meet the requirements of the international labour market, innovations, compliance of the quality system at the enterprise with international standards, continuous improvement of products of national producers sold in the domestic market and expansion of their activities in the international market. Significant changes in the structure of the international and national markets are being observed today. The modern market, with its unique features, the most important of which is active participation in globalisation, offers broad prospects. In the global economic dynamics, competitiveness is becoming a true skill – the ability to occupy strategically advantageous positions in an ever-changing marketing environment that is rapidly evolving under the influence of factors beyond the national economic framework. In the context of globalisation, various factors that enhance competitiveness come to the fore. In particular, it is important to focus on labour resources that meet the high standards of the international labour market, innovations, and the adaptation of the quality system at the enterprise to international standards. Continuous improvement of national producers' products, which are successfully sold in the domestic market, as well as expansion of their influence in the international market, is extremely important.
